Title: Wilflex Performance on Sublimated Poly?

Wilflex Performance White printed onto already dye sublimated poly.  The area getting printed is 100% black dye sub.   I know there are more appropriate inks and materials for this project but 'tis the season for "we need it in three days" and that's what we have on hand.  Trouble is I have no testers.  Anyone done it?

Try 367 one stroke ink.

who's sublimated poly?

I hear that Augusta is ok...

Badger is definitely NOT ok, and white wilflex performance will bleed like a stuck pig.

you may be able to get away with wiflex's performance underbase grey tho, but I have no experience in testing it.

we did run these with Matsui HSA blocker black and then HSA white with Fixer-N added, cured at 230 degrees and came out perfect.  Customer loved the Matte print as well.

Nice, follow up on if it sublimates.  For my original conundrum we used a blocking digital transfer but this would be really good to know down the road.

No black under?

we've had no luck with Wilflex Performance White on Badger Digital Camo....  that stuff bleeds TERRIBLE.

cure temps: 290 degrees at roughly 45 seconds in the gas dryer.
it bleeds almost as soon as it comes off the belt.

the new Augusta camps have been good here using the Rutland poly white. I understand the design is screenprinted... we've run a few jobs with no bleeding through the white. Oh happy day...

That is the Augusta one, they are far better than the badger ones, but I run the same technique on both.

1.black
2.white
3.flash
4.white
5.flash
6.white
7.flash
8.Green

Its slower, but check the results!  3 screens.  No black under.
