Anyone use PLR for repairing machine boards here (Embroidery). They quoted me 2 weeks, probably less than 1 he said to repair one of my boards. It's been over a month and he's just "next week". "Next Week".

Same for us. They ended up sending the board back more busted than when it left.
Board level repair is a fine magic. I'd start looking for a replacement....

I got fed up and called them after several months, sounded like I woke someone up.

Called several times myself. Today first time I got a person who wasn't the tech. She was lost.

same here. They have my Tajima board for two month, with close to no information on status. Any alternative for board repair?

Never used this guy but someone I used to knew who had a large embroidery operation said he was pretty good.
If you go there you might post your experience

I will start calling 3 times a day on Monday.

Any luck with PLR? I get no reply.

And on that note, does anyone know of an actual embroidery circuit board repair place? We have a SWF collecting dust.

I finally got mine back BTW, but I had to bother them for about a week. Machine works like it should so they do good work, just terrible customer service/too busy.

I just bought refurbished one from sewmanyparts.com
Will see if it works.

something must be in the air with these embroidery boards. our tajima crapped out the other day and we can't find a replacement anywhere. we literally got it working by smacking the side of the control board, haha. but obviously thats not a long term solution. we are sooner or later going to be in the market for one with more heads, now might just be the time.
