Just out of curiosity, of you who use this product what are you paying? White tape, 2"x110'.
I am paying $4.14/roll.
-
I use this 3" clear tape. Not really comparable, but cheaper!

Thank for the suggestion! The clear packing tape leaves some serious residue.

The PMI 321 2" we are at $4.36 per roll including shipping when you order a case of 36 rolls.
-
the trick to no residue is to fold the tape back on itself when removing or throw the screen in the dip tank and remove just prior to spraying out the emulsion

We get the 3m Packing tape from Costco, 8 rolls for 12$.
Zero residue.

Natural rubber should be least residue-y. Could also build one of these so the tape never touches the frame:

3" masking tape from Ace hardware $2.89 roll. Been using it for 18 years.
-
ahh, the old tape debate.
We used to use both 2" & 3" masking. It worked fine. we are big time converts to clear tape, it works so much better it's not even funny. masking will turn to crap if ink sits on the outside. clear tape doesn't
There are 2 types of rubber adhesive tape, PVC backed 2.2 mil is great. I get mine from Tapezit here in atlanta. slightly better prices than uline. We use a strip around the inside and that is it. No matter how you peel it there is no residue.

Thanks everyone, I'll order some of the tape suggested and let the guys try it out.. Except for the masking tape, we're out of that game!
