Title: SGIA Atlanta

Hotels are filling up in the area of SGIA in Atlanta. Anyone have suggestions on good places to stay? (I know it's still months away, but I need to plan now)

when I am in atlanta I always stay at home. ;)

I have stayed in the Hilton Atlanta on Courtland street.  It's a nice place, but probably too far to walk.  They may have a shuttle or you can Uber.

Omni, its the closest and the nicest and I will be there.  Although I could stay at home to.

Embassy suites is across the street also, there is a Hilton Garden Inn next to that.

Thanks for the nudge. We just got our rooms at The Omni.
Although Atlanta is our home also - we want to stay close to the action!

I stay at Omni's whenever possible.  Have stayed at them in Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, New Orleans, and New York City.  They are always nice and the staff always goes above and beyond.  They have a kickass rewards program too, Select Guest.  Free to sign up and you get instant benefits and free nights after very few stays, and if you frequent them enough you get tiered services that end up being pretty awesome.  At my previous job where I traveled a ton I got to the highest tier pretty quick and it ruled.

Garment Decorators at SGIA,  if you are an SGIA member plan on attending the Garment Community reception on Wednesday at 5 PM at the Convention Center.

If you have designated your membership category as garment decorator you will automatically receive an invitation, if not you will probably know the greeter at the door, wink, wink, he may have a few extra drink tickets for TSB friends.

Hmm we've not been to a show in many years, we might have to drive up for a one day look...anyone have anything going on, I'd like to meet some of you guys besides Sonny LOL ( I've met Sonny by the way)

I stay at the Holiday Inn because I now have preferred status and I can get a room a day before. That's what you get when you do an install in a different city every week. ;)

And there is one across the street from the World Congress Center.
