I thought I had posted about this before, but maybe it was just in the shoutbox or on a different forum...
Anyway, I am looking for a large one armed bandit, cincinnati press, manual flatbed press, whatever you want to call it. I have seen a few come and go on craigslist in my area over the years, but usually they are either in such bad shape that it would make more sense to just build one from scratch (like shown here http://www.gigposters.com/forums/showthread.php?t=154294 (http://www.gigposters.com/forums/showthread.php?t=154294)) or are too small for what I need to print on it. I need one that will hand a 36x60 print area (bigger if possible, but that is the minimum maximum area). I don't particularly care if the table has a working vacuum top or is parallel lift or any of the other fancy crap you can get with them, though all of that would of course be nice. Mainly, I just don't have the time to build and tweak one and would prefer to buy one.
Budget is low of course, so I am really looking for something gathering dust than the newest cleanest option. Thanks!

Flat stock forums are much more likely to turn up this kind of stuff, but I suppose that we have a few here who dabble in that as well (or used to dabble)

I have a Cinicinati one. It's in nice shape. No table. I'd consider parting with it. Make me an offer.

Gig posters is pretty worthless if you aren't a paying member. What other flatsock/sign forums are out there?

So it is just the arm and screen holder? How long? Have any photos?

Wanted to bump this. I really need one of these still, and don't really have the time to tinker with a diy build, though I guess I will have to soon...

Have you visited forums on which flat stock printing is the main interest?

I asked earlier about other forums. The only one I am aware of with any real activity is gigposters and they pretty much tell you to freak off if you havent paid for premium membership (at least in my limited experience a few years ago).

I ran a zillion linen calendars once with a Cincinnati One-Stroke, laborious yes, but not anywhere near as bad as just trying to pull the squeegee...
I had a small one with a vacuum table that we couldn't give away for 10 years, so we finally let it go for scrap.

yea, no one seems to have them. I have seen one on craigslist in about 3 years of looking, and that was being sold at an auction on a day I couldn't go...
Making one isn't really hard or expensive, but I just don't have much random tinkering time these days.

Google turns up a lot of sign forums, but you'll have to explore on your own
