Title: Printing the perfect Plastisol Transfer...Help
Post by: Sandlot Sports on July 22, 2015, 05:58:37 PM
We've been printing transfers for a while now. They work. They could also be better. We seem to get our best results and prints out of transfers that are 2 colors or less. I really want to step up and create great looking art everytime I add a color the print just won't transfer well to the apparel. It's almost like the 180 temp on dryer "cooks" the first color after being run through 3 times. Does anyone have a suggestion? I'm using UltraStrip 3000 paper, it's a hot peel. Simple Wilflex inks and Rhino powder. I've used the Transfer Express transfers with 5 colors and they are flawless. I just want to get close to that quality.

Thanks

Although the search feature here is weak, a search on the home page (rather than an specific forum) turns up a few old threads that may help.
Here's one.

might try transfer inks.  Application temp and pressure are also important.
