Title: Less scorched shirts in recent years?
Post by: Frog on July 28, 2015, 10:09:05 AM
Is it just me, or are you guys also seeing less scorched shirts coming out of our dryers?

Up to a point, it is of course, figuring correct settings, sometimes adjusted for specific shirts, but I just realized this morning, while looking at the clothesline I've used for sun-bleaching slightly scorched white shirts, it hasn't gotten much use for a few years!

Either I really got my act together (something of which I'm dubious) or something has changed for the better in white shirts.

since we got our gas dryer, we haven't scorched a single shirt.

on our old workhorse 3011, on a hot dry day we'd get some scorching if we forgot to adjust settings.
