Title: Shopping for a refrigerated air dryer
Post by: Prosperi-Tees on September 26, 2011, 12:41:38 AM
What do I need to look for when shopping for one. I am thinking of buying used but not sure yet. I have seen cycling and non-cycling, which is better and why.

Cycling runs all the time and may freeze up if left running over a long period of time with out air flowing through it, like someone forgets to turn it off over a long holiday weekend. Non only comes on when the system needs to. You should also use a general purpose filter/water trap before the dryer to keep contaminants out of it.
