YES!!!
Congratulations to me! (and my wife of course)
We're Grandparents finally!!!! Sunday afternoon, my son and his wife disappointed us when we learned WE couldn't take him home.
Hope he doesn't "grow into" those feet! Long fingers too!

Their is nothing better than the unconditional love from a grandchild.
You have huge amounts of patience that you did not know existed during your 20's.
Your probably have much more control over your time and can really spoil those kids by saying Yes a bunch.
Make the time to enjoy being a grandparent.

Ah yes. I recognize the voice of wisdom and experience here.
My wife will do this effortlessly. I'll have to work at it.
Thanks!

Hey Stan...CONGRATULATIONS,
Looks like those hands might be primed for a squeegee grip but lets hope for a scholarship instead.
Enjoy...... and spoil the heck out of him it is what grandfathers get to do ;)

Grand childen are a blessing from God.
We have been blessed three times.
-
Indeed they are a blessing from God!
I can't wait until he's a little more grown...I like em when they are developing their personality a little more. I didn't even hold him at the birthing center and it really ticked my daughter off. "DAD! So you didn't hold ME at the hospital?!?!?!" (Yes, I did... and cut the cord and all that stuff.)
I just like 'em when they seem a little less fragile.
We had a big Hoo Haw at my son's farm last night for Supper, and young Mr. Fizzle Britches got passed around a lot...to all giggles and smiles.
I'm in Grandpa Heaven alright, but probably oughta go now print some shirts.
Thanks guys!

I've been sleeping with a Great Grandma for three years now. 8)

GOOD on ya Gramps!
I didn't get started soon enough to make it to that level, I'm afraid.
None of my kids were in any hurry to start the process!
Post a pic or two right here, Crazy Mike!!!

Post a pic or two right here, Crazy Mike!!!
[/Come on Stan.... your just a little bit twisted, first sleeping with a Gramma and then wanting pictures of Mike's Great Gramma. Dude, what is wrong with you?color]

PERV!!!! ;)
It's not even FRIDAY!!
I didn't even think how easy that would be to misinterpret.
-
I was going to ask if it was pics of my wife or great grand children.
-
Missus Grandma also has the redeeming quality of being a pretty good photographer.
I'm pretty sure he's considering how to manage dot gain in this picture.
-
Congrats!! Grandparents are always the best!
He is precious!!! :-*
-
Aww shucks....
His daddy says he's grounded. No toys for a while. Pffffffftttt!! My doofus spawn!
(He's getting used to the idea of being a dad. And he's pretty funny!)
Thanks BKerfes!

The par-TICK-ular Grandma to whom I refer is quite the shutterbug as I mentioned, pressed into service when I bought her a Fuji AX-5 SLR just before our firstborn entered the picture 30-something years ago. She absolutely wore that fine camera out and we spent a wad on film as I recall.
So for anyone who cares, here's a 3 month old pic. It only took 97 shots to find one or two that someone wasn't staring off in the wrong direction or Fred wasn't howling at the moon or biting/pestering Matilda. Sheesh!
If you've ever taken family pics with little ones, you KNOW..don't you?!?
She edited them during the baseball game last night. Congrats ROYALS! (our team, of course.)
-
Grandma did a good job on that picture.... nice looking Kansas family!
-
Just over the state line, actually. Their farm is south of Manchester, OK. WOW are their property taxes cheaper than ours!
Thanks Larry! Good to hear from you too.
-
Well of coarse their taxes are cheaper.... they live in Oklahoma! Would you want to live there? (No offense Donnie)
