Title: nuarc 3140
Post by: mimosatexas on August 12, 2015, 04:16:00 PM
How much do these weight usually?  Are they on casters?  I may need to load one onto a trailer next week (assuming the guy accepts my offer) and would love to know what I will need to load it?  Will a standard pallet jack work?  How fragile are they, assuming the concrete may be rough between the trailer ramp and the warehouse floor?  Any tips appreciated.

we have the first version (before M&R) and it is very light. Two ppl can pick it up and carry it around (100 lbs?). 'not sure about the new ones, but I am guessing you will not need a fork lift.

This one is post M&R, but I believe it is still quite old.  Looks to be in great condition though...

Good to know about the weight.  I just didn't want to have to rent a forklift...

Ours is a 2011, I slid it out of the shop we got it from on two planks across the gravel driveway. Two of us lifted it up into and out of the back of my truck. It wasn't light, very alwkward. I believe you can dismantle it, the glass I would say is the heaviest part.

If it is the current style, the shipping weight is 350 lb., so the unit is probably around 250-275.  A serial number would help to better identify which model it is.  Contact me tomorrow with that info and I can give you some pointers on ways to move and what not to do.
