Our pressure washer recently started rapidly pulsing. Like if you were blowing bubbles in the bath tub, but probably faster and not as intense. :)
It's an AR630 from pressure washer direct.
Any ideas?

its a seal in the pressure chamber. I had it happen and replaced the seals for like $5 on mine. Some times its just a chunk of something that gets caught. Turn the unit off and back on then spray for a few mins. Just keep pulling and let going the trigger slowly. Some times it will clear itself.

Ok... probably a seal then... we've been using it like this for a couple of weeks or more. :)

Could it be inadequate water pressure? My water pressure is marginal. I have my pressure washer connected to the water supply with a clear tube. I can see air bubbles work their way down the supply line into the pressure washer. When the pressure washer eats an air bubble it pulses like you describe. I am looking into adding a pressure tank / inline booster pump to improve the water pressure.

I've had this happen when the building's water pressure was lower than normal (repairs being done in another part of the building...line was wide open for a minute or two)...and also when the inlet filter screen was partially blocked with debris.

Ditto on the seal; sometimes a piece of grit gets in there and keeps it from sealing all the way...
