I'm sure this has been asked in a thread somewhere before, but I couldn't find it. Someone is selling a shurloc stretching table setup for 20x28 screens. I was wondering how easy (or if it is even possible) to reconfigure it to do 23x31 screens. Here is the image: http://images.craigslist.org/00y0y_lCnnrD0npbW_600x450.jpg (http://images.craigslist.org/00y0y_lCnnrD0npbW_600x450.jpg)

It isn't hard to re configure at all. That particular one is for a square bar bottom frame though..... You can email Shurloc and see what they would charge for 2 more corner units. Or just buy another stretcher like the one you have the pic of, I just so happen to have one I would sell..... ::)

You will need the layout template from Shurloc as well.

Assuming your 23x31's are all round, all you need is 2 single bases and one wrench. The only bummer deal is that you won't be able to use that sample table to stretch larger frames, so you would need a board big enough for them (roughly 10" larger in each direction than the frame)...
That said, for the hardware, it's just a $300 upgrade. Setting up the frames is super easy with our without the template. Just place the loose bases on the table, then put them under the corners of the frame. Once you get it resting in place, just mark those holes and use the video link to see how to 'cut' the sizes on to the table.

Hopefully that helps!

If it's an actual table, the holes may already be there for moving the parts around; ours does, we do 18 x 20 with a square bar, and 23 x 31 all round...
