Title: What's this called?

I was having a look at one of our next purchases (spot gun) and saw something interesting on this video

Notice the spot gun is hanging on to something that goes up and down. Now, this is where my language barrier comes in. How is that called?
Closest thing I can remember is a hanging scale but I'm sure there's a proper english name for that I can't figure out.

Anyone care to help, please?

EDIT:  "ruh roh!... as you'll see below "Control-C, Control-V" can be pretty slick when it works. Not so much this time!

We've a regular spring for years, does the job really well.
Must be firm enough to hold the weight of the spray gun and flexible enough to stretch when you pull it.

Correct. I just hit cut and paste and musta flubbed up. I was trying to figure out what sort of animal can murder in cold blood and picked the wrong tab to cut and paste. But my biggest mistake was comparing the shooter to an animal at all. Animals don't murder and I've inadvertently besmirched animals en masse.

My apologies to all animals....and to you for my other boo boo.

Ah, I saw that option too. Only went for the orange one as it holds more weight ;) price is pretty similar. Will order it tomorrow.


I have a lot of respect for animals, whatever that one is.. it's not an animal
