I have a customer that goes all over the country. He called me and ask i I could print on glass and I said "no way". Anyone on here print on Glass and if so what is the process?
-
I have, but it was close to 40 years ago. treated it like any flat stock, printing one color, drying, printing the next.
Some ink from NazDar. I don't remember
You probably want to look at epoxy, or their 5100 series
Some guys were even printing, and then having the glass silvered to become mirrors.

I have a guy in Vegas who can print glass.. hit me up for contact if you want it

I have printed on stain glass, 3 color...they were flat pieces.
Got the inks from nazdar..call them they will tell you exactly what series you need and everything else.
I used a 230 screen for it.

i printed about 300 or so handheld mirrors a few years ago. it was pretty easy actually. if i recall we used an enamel ink from nazdar. just rigged up a jig on a platen and went with it. they turned out really nice.

Oh and for everyone else we use about 5 different brands of ink. Nazdar, Inkflexx, Candoc etc. Reason being is different brands colours have different adhesion quality. So it take quite a bit of tinkering to get them right. Were printing beer bottles, but mirrors or anything should be the same.
Cheers!

InkAnswers@nazdar.com can help determine which ink would be apporpriate. There are a few different inks that would work on Glass.
I agree with ffokazak: different adhesion, color and durability
You can also send a sample of the item to Nazdar to run a sample print to help!
