We have finally outgrown our usual arrangement in the main dining room of King's Fish House, so this time around, I am taking the suggestion of the management (as well as Rich Hoffman years ago) and booking the private dining room.
This has plusses and minuses.
If we grow to our usual size of more than 25, they really lean on us to go with a limited banquet menu to aid service. It also requires an accurate head count a few days ahead.
So, preliminary information is Saturday, January 23, 2016 (not the usual Friday) 7:00 PM.
I will keep you posted as to when we will start seriously signing up.

Hey Frog and Everyone,
Still some time away but this month is going to fly by with the holiday rush. Not sure if I missed another post but I just got my tickets and cannot wait. After missing last year I am really looking forward to this one!

we are looking for a different place this year. The dinner has also been moved to Sat night.
Any of the regular show attendees have any suggestions on where to go?

Just booked our flights (and getting hotel at the Travelodge booked now).
Tiffany is coming with me as well...
and we're both in for the TSB dinner too.
Can't wait to see all of our friends.

I'll probably be having dinner with my crew that night, but are there going to be any other meet ups?
I'd love to meet some of the jerks from this site ;) Put some screen names to faces. I'm more of a lurker, but I've learned a lot from here, and appreciate the resource.

Last year's meet-up was 12:15 pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It was scheduled to not interfere with some seminars and conferences.
I'd say tentatively figure that time or something pretty close, and though an exact location has not been picked, you can almost count on it being near the M&R booth, 1407, huge, and conveniently located near the front and center of the action. We will have to figure out where there is some room for us to gather and not block other activity.

I really thought I would finally make it this year. Y'all have fun.

Just a few weeks away now.. oh boy!

Just got our tickets yesterday. I'm looking forward to it. Hope to meet some of you there.
-
it's getting close and we need some sort of list of who is coming to dinner. Can everybody participating please PM Frog or myself and let us know you'll be joining us?
Also, 12:15 is not going to work for me as a meeting time. I am not there on Friday and am teaching the class on Sunday. Any other suggestions for time and place?

Before last year, we had meet-ups on Friday and Saturday at 11am and 2pm. (I've personally never made it to Sunday)
Apparently those times conflicted with some seminars or conferences for some members. I don't know if there are any perfect times.

Its a bit of a surprise to me that there has been such a low response to this offer to provide N/C shirts for TSB members at the upcoming Long Beach ISS Show.
P Walsh Post from ISS Long Beach - TSB Member Tee Shirt Design Contest 12/30/15:
Happy Holidays TSB Peeps: As you all know the Long Beach, CA ISS show is scheduled to be held January 22 thru 24, and we are expecting a big TSB member turnout. With that in mind I cant think of anything better than having a bunch of TSB members walking the show floor wearing a stylish TSB Promotional Tee shirt so................... Here's the deal, Nazdar SourceOne is inviting any interested TSB Member's to submit a design to my attention (see contact info below) as a low resolution PDF on or before next Friday January 8th, 2016. I'll work with the Three Stooges running TSB to post all submissions, and we'll have a vote to pick the winner.
We'll also set up a registration page where you can submit your shirt request and size. Nazdar SourceOne will commit to print 10 dozen (120) shirts that TSB Members can pick up at the Long Beach ISS, and we'll send the balance out to non-attending members by USPS post show. If there's any real interest in this program from TSB members I'll reach out to Mr. Hoffman at M&R, and the folks at Brother to see if we can significantly increase the quantity of available shirts. We would send any unclaimed shirts to Andy, Dan or Pierre to distribute the shirts post show at their discretion.
IMPORTANT DESIGN INFORMATION: Please don't limit your design by making it too ISS Long Beach Centric, we should create a design that promotes TSB on an ongoing basis

The initial post may have been overlooked by many during the holidays, and any meaningful design may take a little while.
Perhaps anyone who intends to submit something, but hasn't yet, can let Peter know.
