Scrap the curtain/frame and build a DIY vacuum frame/glass. Great price for 5k watts of power!

If that thing works...best deal I've seen in a long time!  I'd scrap our LED unit in a heartbeat and use this in it's place.  I've been told by 3 different guys that have forgotten more about screen printing than I know that the Olec expo units are STILL the best light source available.

That set up as is would be good for a CTS user also. They are great lamps. Still have one as my backup. Used it for, God, too many years to admit.

That one on ebay does not seem to include an integrator, but I assume that they are available with a little effort.

I have one of those as well (with an AI 975 Integrator), and would sell it but don't want to deal with crating and all that. Someone local here in the SF Bay Area perhaps will get a deal some day.
The standard reflector does require some elbow room, but those are great light sources with a clever rotating "tin can with a hole" shutter.

edit: I take that back! No mention of an integrator, but a picture of the integrator manual.

And that listing links to this, especially with our own Tony P in mind. Yes sir!!

Funny how we've come full circle with the stand alone exp units.. way back when we had large vacuum tables with that light being wheeled to different taped off zones on the floor... 25 yrs later we have CTS with that same light.. hmmm..

It's free for local pickup.. and I'm about 20 minutes from his house.. HA HAA!!

Thanks Guys!
This was a no brainer.
The Kid and I are going to print a few posters or two.
Just fell into a Cameo 30 (mint), Cinciniati One Arm squeegee, C&P Paper cutter.
And now an Olec!

Alan,
since you and I are both owners of the great Vastex LED unit I was wondering if we can exchange experiences and exposure times at one point. Might PM you this week.

You don't want to fall into that Cameo, as you know it has no safety cable. LOL!

Hopefully that listing wasn't fake. The seller had 0 transactions and now has another one for sale with the same pictures.

^^Let's hope.
The listing he had up yesterday I was going to post here was for two hundred BIN.

I've seen more than a few of those OV33 and OV45 units for sale real cheap in Cali.
Crating and freighting was always way too much money though...

Sweet, Winston. You got it! Maybe I have partially paid you back for all the free dryer help you have given me.

Nah! I probably will owe you.
the seller still hasn't contacted me yet, but I paid with card on ebay, so I am not so concerned.
I think it is from RG circuit shop, that closed in Escondido.
I will keep you posted.
Thanks,
winston

  I picked up Olec Today!
Took the Complete unit, Integrator, Vacume Pump In Super Clean Condition
  Left the rest.
  Nice People! Super Nice Shop
Have Run A Nice 3-4 Million Dollar Operation Per Year  Since The 1980's
Said They Were Tired of ALL the Kalifornia Regulations, Competition From China.
Most sad for 80+ employes who no longer have a job.
  Thanks Guys!
