I have a tri-loc system. I just ordered the S Roque registration pallet. I'm going to use tri-loc for now. They also sell a FPU unit. I may get that down the line, but for now I'm going to go the tri-loc route and see how it adapts.

Probably the major pitfalls in the early days of the tri-loc era were the dreaded carrier sheets. At .50 per that cost can add up and cleaning them is time consuming when re-using. Add that to operator error when using the human eye to pre-align (most common was improper angling, ie not using a 90 degree perspective) and that's when many gave up. So expect some serious cleaning and mixed results but the original system can work. Thankfully for many, the DTS systems have taken us pesky humans out of the equation.
