Title: a still for a spirits company
Post by: Sbrem on October 05, 2011, 05:45:52 PM
These are coming down the line right now, then being rushed over to UPS (way past the normal pickup) 4 color, 2 white, orange and black, on black. We like it...

Very cool!

Awesome content and execution. It's been awhile since I've had corn whiskey. Some One I Know
used to make it in the backyard...

Very nice! But, I'm always curious...why black on a black garment? Never used one myself. Could have had another color. Lt. Orange & Dk. Orange or Brown.

Though I don't have my hand in it, other than discussion with the broker. It's 50 line, 22.5°, 230 for the base white, and 305 for the rest. We printed the black just for a little more definition in the shadows, we feel it adds depth by extending the tonal range. (we don't always do that, but it seemed right for this one) Thanks for the kind words, I'll pass them along to the crew, after all, it's their work.

That's a nice looking print, really sharp and well defined detail, great job!

I know what you mean about using black on black shirts, have done myself on a few, sometimes it just comes out better that way.

What color orange did you use?

I'd like to have one of those...a shirt too. :P

Nice print.

Wow that looks great.

What PMS color did you use for the copper?

I like to make a black print for black shirts. Kind of tightens things up a bit and enhances detail.

Hey, Steve was not even smart enough to send it! (at least not yet)  ::)

There seems to be a definite lack of interest.

I like the show and tell, but would prefer a few contest entries!

Maybe the first time will be slow but once one contest is done and people see the possibilities and rewards interest should grow.

People like me or to damn shy to include a print.

Wow, thanks for the nice comments. I couldn't really get back yesterday, as I'm as sick as a dog. Better this morning though, still at home. Andy, I'll enter the contest, and I'll find out what the orange was. Doctor at 10:00, then back to work. Thanks again guys
