Title: HOSS Automatic Heat Press?
Post by: mimosatexas on January 14, 2016, 02:34:22 PM
Has anyone ever used one of these? http://www.digitsmith.com/hix-hoss-super-shuttle-heat-press-38545.html (http://www.digitsmith.com/hix-hoss-super-shuttle-heat-press-38545.html)

Any idea of build quality, ease of use, results of the pressing, etc?

We had a customer in the Wichita area that had the single heat shuttle flash by Hix and it was an excellent machine. Very well built and it never let him down. Don't remember what he paid for it but it was quite pricey. I would think you would need some pretty big venues to keep that monster busy.

cool.  Just curious more than anything.  I spend a good amount of my production these days doing stuff that requires heat pressing (vinyl, transfers, foil, etc) so I have been looking into more automated options for down the road...

how low?  feel free to PM me.  With drive time, trailer rental, gas, buying a compressor (which is something I have been needing anyway for a variety of reasons anyway), and the condition in the photos I don't really want to pay the asking price on the ad...
