Title: Flood Benefit Shirts
Post by: Boldline on March 17, 2016, 09:31:30 PM
I have not posted here in a long time - I apologize for that. I'd love to see this art section thriving, but I'm a hypocrite if I'm not remembering to post work here myself!
Just finished these two simple one color designs to benefit those affected by flooding in Texas and Louisiana recently. I wanted the shirts to be more than just text saying "I survived..."
I wanted them to be a little more light-hearted and interesting. I saw someone in passing the other day wearing a shirt that supported the flooding in SC last year and they have the outline of the state as a pool of water... it inspired me in creating these designs. :)

I like the designs.

You donating the shirts to some agency that can sell them to benefit the victims?

Thanks! Work was done for a screen printer in Texas who is donating all proceeds to the "Hometown Heroes" group that is assisting the flood victims. I also donated.

Mat is the man.  If you ever get a chance to work with him, he's top notch!

thanks! Yeah I thought about multi-colors but stuck with one universal color on these - tried to make it a little interesting to compensate
