Judging by the mixed line weights of the lettering, I'd bet that this was a hand-lettered job. Somebody with a Speedball nib.

And, for what it's worth, they've spelled "Deciple" wrong. It's disciple. Deciple looks like it would be pronounced "de-sipple". Might not want to point it out to them, though, if they've been using it like this for any length of time and they might take offense.

No, it's not that it's spelled correctly. At best, it is misspelled on purpose, or has merely been grandfathered in after the error was pointed out by the late Jimmy McCrazy.
For what it's worth, I was in a junior high club which we named (and mispelled) "Harlequens" We thought it was cool to buck the rules as well, LOL!
