Toy Barn guys where great to work with. It was super smooth process I was just blown away that it was basically in a corn field.  ;D

Thanks!  The Z06 remains faster than the Ferrari, it probably handles slightly better as well.  But there is no comparison as far as how emotional a Ferrari is to drive. The feeling each car gives you is a bit different.

Ya, I use to have one of those, that actually be my old one... Had to get rid of it, the 2dr option was simply not conducive to my lifestyle. It was much too crowded for the entourage of bikini models I travel with.... Traded it in for mid 90's station wagon with wood paneling, minimal rust, and rear facing 3rd row seat.... :P

On a serious note, congrats man. You get 1 life, make the most of it.

Of course since I've gotten it the weather has been awful, but here she is.

So what are the specs on that? That thing must handle like a dream! The interior is so beautiful.

Its 570hp, 7 Speed Dual Clutch. It's a quick car. 0-60 in 3 seconds. Top speed just over 200mph. It feels like its on rails.

Nah, financed it. When you get a 2.6% rate on a used exotic, take it.  ;)

2.6??? You are killing it. I think the last car loan I took out was in the 4's. I'm calling you to find out who your guy is the next time I need to take out a loan.

we have this customer, bought himself a used Lambo, 90K, I don't know the series. Picked it up on Ebay, told his wife he bought it when he asked her to drop him off at the airport to go get it! I'm surprised she didn't kill him but she didn't...so this guy flys with his son to Missouri, picks up his Lambo, drives back..Proceeds to dive it to our shop on a cold January day, high rate of speed down our road which was under construction at the time, never mind the road salt. All we heard was the sweet sound of the exhaust and the car bouncing off the divots in the road..this car was a turd, nice from a distance, then you get up on it and holy hell, this thing was pounded on...I can't imagine spending that kind of coin just to beat on it...

Eastman Credit Union here in town. Not sure they do anything out of state but they have fantastic rates on car loans. We are moving my building to them as well.

Credit unions are the way to go.  better rates and it's usually much easier to get capital than banks.

Same business, just a franchise deal.  They are still small but they were great to work with so I think it could go well for them.

After my cousin retired from the NFL he owned Atlanta Imports in Smyrna Ga, he had some very pricey rides they used to sell and you know who his customers where LOL being a former NFLer.  I remember sitting my butt in a Lambo, you wouldn't think those cars had that much room in them but they do, but hey Brandt, dude ain't nothing wrong with what your doing, enjoy the hell out of it, I know I would  ;)

Amazing, would love to take that around a few empty roads.
Feel free to drop a few hints on how to afford one of these some day, although like you say I'd prioritise a couple of big surf trips first...

The Ferrari has a touch more room then the Z06 is whats interesting but the Ferrari is a touch stiffer of a ride.

I wish it was a interesting story on how to be able to afford stuff like this. We ran very lean for as long as we could 8 years roughly. Almost no personal expenses and dumped money into equipment and the bank. It made the last few years easy as have paid cash for everything in here minus 3 pcs.  Which is all we owe on. Personally we didn't even buy our first home until after we bought our building and such.  Hell we took delivery of our CH3D the same week we closed on our house so we were on our second auto before we cared enough to put money into our personal lives.  In a couple of years we will own everything except our building as far as the business goes. Personally we will probably always have car debt as we love cars too much...but that is OK. I am probably the most white trash person to ever by a Ferrari and that is OK with me. I came from a corn field basically and busted my ass to get what I have. Right now I could hire 2 people and effectively semi retire if I wanted to at 37. Im good with that.

No kids=money in the bank!  ;)

But seriously, that is awesome.   Good for you. I am 33 and amazed at where I am at this age.  I tell people all the time that I will semi retire by 40 and they think I am crazy.  We keep our cost of living cheap so we can travel and take time off and not be cash strapped like so many others.  Keep it up man!

That's a nice loop, but Just like me and the bikes, it's still public roads and if we play long enough, we'll pay. I've got about a year before I can really 'play' again as picked up to many tickets last year  ;D

Not sure if yours has it or not but when you enter some race tracks around the world the car goes into 'race' mode and then you really get to open er up.

Nice! I'm 37 and couldn't imagine being that financially secure. What a great position to be in. Congratulations on the ride, I hope you get the car out to a track day and open her up a bit, it must be a frustrating car to drive in the traffic :)

That road above have no cops and is in the middle of no where, its not a tourist trap (yet) like the dragon is (which is also not far from us). Both are world famous roads and have places you could hit top speed in either of my cars if you had the nuts. But we generally stay around 80-100 in the corners. Some corners of course are nearly uturns and are slower but great for sliding the car around a bit. We have a great group of guys that we run with all experienced drivers. Generally 10-25 of us per trip out there in super cars. Nothing better than hearing 25 exotic cars run though the hills and curves.

Ferraris do not go into race mode automatically, I drive mine in Race mode daily though its just a switch on the maniteno.

I'm familiar with the Dragon and the surrounding area, love it down there and hoping to move there this summer.

The Cherohala skyway is about  my favorite piece of blacktop on the planet.. i love me some extra fast roads and the skyway delivers!

kinda funny as 129 is pretty much all in TN and all the riders to the area stay in NC, robbinsvile and the locals love us as we bring tons of cash to the area. TN gets their cut using tickets and aggressive enforcement. All the guys i ride with avoid the road and stay in NC and even WV.

way back they found out the TN troopers were hiding in the trees and filming "violaters" and calling ahead down the road. they stopped a lawyer and he exposed the entire thing when he had his day in court.

NC just passed a law where if you are 1mph over cops will pull you. Wonder if that will change how that goes. We've not seen any cops ever on the Snake. Knock on wood.

Sure is a nice ride Brandt.  But that monthly would scare the hell out of me.

I always dreamt of a hot wife and a Ferrari.  Well, I had the hot wife and the monthly on that turned out to be about twice what a Ferrari would have cost me.  I guess the car would have been a better choice.  Heck, I could have been on my third one by now and all good memories.

Enjoy the hell out of it.

As a child of the 80's.. the lambo and exotics of the day caught my eye, had the posters on the wall.. then the guy down the street had a Honda 1000 CB something or other and would ride wheelies down the street and I was like.. coooooollllll!!  Got to know him, Jay, and a couple months later he would give me a mini bike frame and I built my first bike.

From that point cars just didn't make sense anymore, well most don't except the 1971 BMW 2002

Has about 100 more HP and couple hundred more ft lbs of torque. Updated magnetic ride that is night and day smoother. Has 50% more down force over the previous car. It's a step on in every way.

Has about 100 more HP and couple hundred more ft lbs of torque. Updated magnetic ride that is night and day smoother. Has 50% more down force over the previous car. It's a step on in every way.

wow, that much extra torque is HUUUUUGEEEE! I know the difference between 300 and 400 big for me, but 400 to 600 should be mind boggling. OK wipe that grin off your face, I can see all the way from Cleveland!

you plan on getting some track time?

Hope to, but we do drive some amazing roads up here that have no population on them and we go very hard. Its nice to have it right in the back yard basically (421 the snake).

congrats!
