Anybody got an idea (graphic) for a football playoff shirt?
Customer is no help, and I'm stumped.

helmet, gridiron, megaphones, some arched text, maybe 2 helmets facing each other, try "football free vector" in a google search...

Plan is to print the texture with a puff so it stands up a little

yes, if you can print only the raised areas with puff, it can be very realistic.
The raised pebbles can be puff and overlaid with your brown print.

Second option clear gel density screen 400 micron. Depends on how fancy want to get. If you puff underlay the brown the dots will raise in a lighter shade FYI

Isn't the lightening effect greatly reduced by the dark brown ink not actually having puff mixed into it? It's not exactly "puffing" more like stretching.

here is what I ended up with.
The texture looks a little better than this pic and I bumped the camera on the front pic.

Yes, perhaps not greatly but yes. The puff underlay is an old school trick used when wanting to run multiple raised inks on darks with minimal flashing. The flashing is critical. The puff must be only surface cured. The "puffing occurs in the dryer. An open cell puff wield a slightly mottled texture while a closed cell will exhibit a more smooth finish.

I posted this in another place.  I was showing the art here, but wanted to also discuss the texture and how to achive this.  I posted the same pics in "work done". Let's discuss puff and others there,
