Title: Logo Created
Post by: theMadArtist on April 21, 2016, 02:13:29 PM
The Lady wanted a logo for her bakery ( Double Delicious) with her picture.
She liked the concept I dreamed up so much she chose not to have me draw a picture of her- for easy screen printing, and easier fit to website.
Will be enhancing this in Photoshop at N/C to her~

The only thing I see wrong is the idea that gluten-free is double delicious. It's about half delicious.

It hurts to look at. The two colors are fighting too much. Change your contrast so you have at least 40 to 50 percent contrast and that should help. It may just be the color placement. If you switch the light and brighter color to the top and the darker one for the bottom Delicious it may also clean up the confusion to the eye. The mirror Delicious also looks wrong for some reason. I think its that the bottom Delicious is on top the the top one or looks like it is. Don't mean to be negative. Just want to be honest. With a little fine tuning it will be much better.

I thought the contrast was good.  The only funky thing is the U looks like an N upside down, so I want to try and read it.  Maybe a lighter color would fix that, not sure.

Thanks all for your feedback. A good logo SHOULD be mesmerizing , SEIZING our attention- and NO ONE would ignore this on a truck zipping by, or a billboard, or...
Funny thing, is I was just BEGINNING to develop it when, sending this progress proof, she said se LOVED it the way it was...throwing it off-balance by having me add :-\ the 'gluten-free' blurb!

From what I hear you have been "Off-balance" for quite sometime..... and I'm not sure it is the gluten that is causing it!
