Can't find pricing on those or the Anatol Horizon, nor the Roq. Why are prices so secretive. I remember a few years ago being quoted a 6/8 horizon for around 20-22k shipped and installed.

You might look at tances used 10/12 for 15,000 more bang for buck and a board member, say it on m&r used website.Plus a diamondback.

He sold the d back already and his post is a little misleading. He wants 20+ for the press and 15 for a different piece of equipment.

There is a used sportsman here in Sacramento. 6/8 with a Reno flash. 400k prints, and he's asking 20k. He's been trying to sell for awhile now, maybe he'll go down on the price.

We put a new 6c horizon online in January. Servo/air heads. Only for 1-2 colors so bagged the electric heads.
Was cheap.
Mfg's are quoting quoting quoting depending on the need to sell or who or what. List is irrelevant.

Cheapest will be pneumatic heads (obviously). Anatol Horizon, M&R Diamondback, and Workhorse Cutlass should be your cheapest options. Call and get pricing. Then compare features, reliability, service etc and pick your favorite. Begin negotiating.

Not sure your needs, etc. But I'd also get pricing for AC heads and 8/10 configurations.

Gerry check out Ryonet's rental program. Might be just the thing to fit the bill.

Did not know that existed. Where do you find info on that?

Their website seems to change daily. Maybe shoot them an email?
The tech installing ours had mentioned it regarding something else and it got me thinking
about this thread.

Wonder how "used" this one is.  Always loved the E-type for a one-auto shop that uses film and needs fast setups.

I looked into this option to see what it was all about last year. I see the rental program seems like it is best suited for someone who can not get approved for an equipment lease/loan, or if you will looking for something really short term with plans to upgrade within a year. (ie rent a 6/8 and upgrade lease/purchase a 10/12 in a year). Or maybe if you are really worried about committing and want to be able to walk away at any time.

It's an interesting concept that creates an option for some people to be able to go automatic sooner. But I don't think it's the ideal long terms solution.

Call Ryonet and they will give you the details on it.
