Title: printing on Under Armour - high elastane (spandex)

hello, i am a newbie to your board and a 3 year rookie in the industry. (i bought an existing business).
anyway, we print on an M & R sportsman automatic and are having a helluva time with these high elastane shirt (18% spandex) for a volleyball team. at first it was the ink, we bought special performance ink and that seems ok - not great but ok. but now the problem is the shirts not sticking to the pallet. so the shirt is pulling up and sticking to the screen.

any thoughts? anyone have this problem?

we are considering running manually if we have to, but the shirt still will not stick to the base.

any .02 is so much appreciated.

What adhesive(s) have you tried? Have you considered contacting Under Armor?
Since their introduction, they have given printing instructions, and made ink suggestions. Perhaps they do the same with adhesives.
I just don't have any contact info, though I did get something from them years back, so I know there's a way to get through.

if u go manual press i would try a jacket hold method

thank you - we are going to try some new adhesive - should arrive monday. my under armour guy has not been great help - a HUGE disappointment. printing manual may just be the way to go.

still welcoming any ideas. thanks for any thoughts you have shared.

My first thought is, are you flashing too long? Heat breaks down adhesive, and the material is "slick" to start with. Flash only as long as you need to.
