Title: Photoshop -- Spot channels turning themselves on
Post by: redwoodtees on June 28, 2016, 11:32:57 AM
I have a document with a number of layers and a number of spot channels. Whenever I go to edit a layer mask, the spot channels turn back on. In other words, I go to the channels tab and make only the RGB channels visible. And then I go to the layers tab and click into a layer mask. As soon as I click into a layer mask, the spot channels turn back on. So annoying! Is this by design or a bug? If by design, what is the reason? Seems to me I should be able to edit a layer mask (which is a separate channel) independent of the spot channels.
