Title: Exposure test patterns
Post by: Gilligan on August 17, 2016, 12:30:43 PM
I know Dan generously gave us a great one here:

But I was wondering if anyone had any other cool ones they wanted to share.

We are playing around with coating and emulsions and exposure times.  We have the stouffer strips (sp) and such, but we also like to see pretty "usable" things come out as well.

I have one but it is a 6.2mb tif.  How do I send it to you?

Hey Gilligan, we offer a free download on our website: https://www.anthemprintingsf.com/Screen-Exposure-Calculator-s/216.htm (https://www.anthemprintingsf.com/Screen-Exposure-Calculator-s/216.htm)

It's a more basic wedge test version, not sure if that's what you're looking for. - David

Joe Clarke is developing a REALLY killer one that while it's not really an 'exposure' test per se, it can be used to calibrate your press, squeegee angles and speed, and really help to dial in your printing technique.

it also has fun pics of dogs on it :)

Sounds good. Photo Mechanicals, i.e. pressure rings and grayscales?

We always just drew our own, assorted weight lines, wedges, and concentric circles, then later added a halftone scale...
