Title: CorelDRAW X8
Post by: Frog on September 14, 2016, 08:13:44 PM
Still lookin' for someone here who has taken the plunge, and perhaps can tell me if it's a worthwhile upgrade from X6.
On sale for $139 right now.

I'll probably get the trial version, and with my luck decide to get the upgrade after the sale is over! DOH!

Heck I'm still on x4, don't know what I'm missing if anything.

About 2 months ago I upgraded from X3 to X8.  A lot of the function (import - export) buttons are different and it takes a little getting used too but the import filters work better with the X8. A lot of pdf files in X3 would not import, corupt files, but will open right up in X8. Have not really had much of a chance to be creative with the artistic side of X8 but when things slow down we will try it out. Might be that big of difference from X6 to X8 and with the lowering of the upgrade price I suspect X9 is on the near horizon.
