We just tried to print some Augusta football jerseys and they are bleeding like there is no tomorrow. We tried pressing the transfers from Transfer Express (regular names and numbers rather than the low bleed stuff) and they bled too.
What are our options to get them decorated? They need a print and names and numbers. Obviously making individual screens for all the names and numbers is out of the questions, so what else is left?
Anybody here that could do this for us?
thanx,

vinyl applied at 300 degrees? Never had issues with bleeding when doing names and numbers using cut vinyl.

For bad bleeders, there is Sub Block material for both regular cad cutting and print and cut.
I'm using some right now on some digital camo jerseys (which can be the worst)
The downside of the Easyweed Sub Block I'm using on this job is that it's not as soft as the regular Easyweed.

problem with the CAD cuts is that the numbers are not available precut so everything would be custom. They get numbers on the front and the back, the names and a decoration. I can see $30 per jersey easily! Preprinted numbers from transfer express are $1/digit and names are $4 (this is what we charge). That's a pretty big difference from $30. . .

Have you tried plain old die-cut Thermo Film numbers from Stahls?
It's what I have always used on regular poly.
And, for they will cut you names at about $1.85 each so you don't have to lay out die cut letters.

How fast do you need them? There is a guy down here that has this down to a science. Joe Lugo. 404-784-9796
