Being in Atlanta, when this subject came up at a clients in PA i said I would run by the Nedco plant and get some info. Plant burned to the ground two weeks ago. They are still in business but would be 120 days out on a new unit. It would be in the $45K range to fold and bag t shirts through hoodies. I heard that Roq has one and talked to Ryonet. This thing is $11K to fold and ??? for a bagger. Amscomatic also is in the mix but they are $80K for the same system. My question... what justifies the drastic price difference. Here is the Roq url.

are you sure they didn't say 111k? 11k for a piece of equipment that size seems really low.

Actually the guy said $10,995. If you look at the video they basically automated the folding board. Think Sheldon Cooper

I talked to him the other day. He is getting the building next to where he was. Says he is fully operational and will be up and running in the new facility soon. Need anything?

Its 11K for a motorized Flip Fold from Ryonet.

That Roq folding option is over 65k for sure... It might be 85-100k for all I know..... But its by far the best solution that is out there... 1 operator can do EVERYTHING.....

Wow! The last time I checked we were around $25,000 for a folder that would do 1600 pieces per HR. Shows how much rices increase when quoted on the internet!

Rich will that price point fold and bag hoodies and long sleeves? What is the wait time for a new unit? I have a client in desperate need.

hoodies are questionable and the long sleeve attachment is over 15k..
when they said 80k.. that's when you get the entire folding line from front to back with all the bells and whistles..
I'm setting up our Anscomatic folding equipment tomorrow, well ahead of our presses as I can sell Bag and Fold to my local market right out the gate.
As soon as we can we're bringing in a 2nd folding line that has all the goodies.

Ryonet makes an automatic folder for $11k. Might have gotten the product wrong.

Yeah, I'd build them all day long for 11K too!
I mean, we are talking a few pnuematics and a micro controller to control everything.... pretty simple.

My father, who was a 40-year career Automator for a international cement manufacturer is about to complete our "homemade" folder/bagger.
The Roq Fold unit is a licensed SpeedyTee with a green paint job.

The speedy t folder that Ryonet sells is not the same as the roq fold/packing solution. The roq version has never been sold in the United States but Ryonet will be showing the first one at iss long beach in Jan with that unit then going to a large shop in Vegas. The roq machine is a very innovative solution that allows only one operator to operate the entire line. The machine folds everything from t's, hoodies, jackets, pants, etc making it a really awesome option. I do not know pricing but I believe it's in the 75k range give or take. The speedy t folder and the roq folder is like comparing a Lamborghini to a huffy bike imo ;) ;)

hoodies yes. Sleeves is a separate option called the LS350
