Why do so many crates not allow the use of a pallet jack to go under them?
this is so annoying....
-
time to buy a narrower pallet jack?

get a narrow forked jack. You can also center one of the forks and have someone push on the side to steady the crate. I worked with pallets almost daily at my old job for about 5 years and have moved them without issue using all variety of rigged up bullshit on a standard jack.

Wouldn't a larger pallet, to accommodate "typical" jacks, result in higher freight costs? How many thousand pallets of this size do they send out a year. M&R isn't paying the freight, but trying to make it more palatable for the end user. Just my thoughts. We did the balance things last time we got ours in.

Stick one leg in, it will lift it just fine.

Hit it from the diagonal.

Dave, you missed a great opportunity. They could have been making it more "palletable"

I did see that Andy. I chose to leave it as I wrote it though. I knew you'd see it.
