Quick question for the M&R people. Our diamondback has been a little glitchy lately. Starting a print cycle and not printing, randomly skipping a print stroke during a run. Like we will be running a 3 color design and randomly it will just not print head 4 or 5 or where ever, but still print the rest of the colors. A restart of the machine seems to fix it, but was just wondering if anyone else has ever run into this. Im assuming it would be something with the brains of the machine.
Ill probably give the service # a call, but I was sitting at my computer and figured I would ask here as well. Thanks!

Cleve, I hope you get a good answer because I have a different manufacturer's press and it has done something similar to what you mention in the past.

my sportsman would do that , it was a switch that controlled the air going to the head if you have an air machine that may be it they get clogged mine would do it spastically then it got worse.

10 C sporty that forgets where the "print start" pallet is and prints a freshly glued pallet instead.
hit the switch to index the machine and it pauses.. and if you dont hit the estop like asap.. it tries to index but doesnt and slams so hard it shakes the machine.
happpens very sporadiclly and cant replicate the problems.

Our sporty does that on occasion. Not random skipping of heads. Seems like it thinks it's in a print start or finish when it shouldn't be. Do you use a no shirt detector?

You may have a pinched prox switch somewhere giving it random signals..
