Title: Laser Printer for Color Proofs 11/9
Post by: DCSP John on November 09, 2016, 01:05:10 PM
What are you guys using for printing out color proofs?
We have some Brother color lasers, but toner use and quality
are suffering. Looking to upgrade to something that is not
a bank breaker...

Thanks.

Toshiba 2830C for daily stuff. If it's color critical than a sample can be printed on the 4800.
Toshiba is a heavy duty copier/printer and can be had for very little money, about a $1K. Considering it was $14K new, that's pretty good. The toner is good for 25K pages if I remember correctly and is available for $70 or so on ebay (original Toshiba, not an aftermarket copy).
