our need for a dual station heat press has increased rapidly the past couple of months.
But i'm at a loss of what to get. We have all Stahls heat presses currently, and they are all fine, but i'm wondering if there is anything else we should be looking at? Especially for large run jobs?
is an air heat press any better?

Single head dual station air press is the bee's knees!

I know stalhs is making them. Who else?

Geo knight has a bunch of options. Not sure of the model numbers off the top of my head.

Yes. I feel in many ways.
If you feel you are in need of a dual station you won't want to be pressing that much. Also with air you can set the psi and record it for repeat orders. With ours you can save settings for different things.
We have a Stahl's dual air fusion with 25k-30k impressions, other than a few quirky things with the touch screen it's been great.

Geo Knight or Hix for my money, I've seen to many serious breaks on Stahls machines, like swing shafts and the like.

Geo Knight is the best you can buy.

You can't beat the consistency that air pressure adds to a heat press.

Pneumatic Goe Knight Might ask for some pics...

I have a Practix, single head, dual platen, pneumatic.
I bought it more than 20 years ago, neaver given trouble and is built like a tank.
I see they still sell them in their website,

I'm in agreement that pneumatic is FAR better than manual for more than one reason, most notable for us is repeat-ability. Air pressure notes remove one variable for multiple operators, and that's a good thing.
