I have been using Sericol. I'ts Been working great until this last batch of yellow. Immediately when adding the activator it turns into a thick clumpy oatmeal type mess. I need another supplier for process waterbase. CCI does not have a offering.

Rick you can make your own with the Rutland wb/pcs. Call or PM me for "starter formulas"

No. I like the vibrancy of the Sericol and the Rutland mixes just don't come close. I was hoping someone else here had another line that was working great other than the Rutland PC mixes. I have formulas for all the Pms and process matches for the wb series. Thanks though

Have you looked at Magna?

Yes sir, I need to again, Do they offer pre mixed process colors. The rutland pigments just don't work well with the magna bases. We have a new line of 20 designs and I have already sampled several with the sericol and they look fantastic. Hopefully today sericol has the issues with the yellow worked out. I have some VIRUS coming also.

Id imagine the rut pigs won't work with magna due to different ink chemistry.

That's exactly right.

Rick, I'm curious if you gave Sericol a chance to make it right.
I don't use much of their stuff. 3 or 4 spot color Texcharge colors, mostly for boosting. But surely as big as they are (used to be anyhow) they should have some type of path to correcting poor products.
Have I missed something here? Are they "on the ropes"? Closed the doors?

oh yea, Sean was here yesterday and they overnighted a couple more gallons of yellows (not the HT) to get me thru. They have always been my go to with process discharge as they offer the pre- mixed cmyk and it works real good. Also there reds and flou. inks are kick ass. So basicly when this happened I thought I would ask what the industry experts are using. Sericol direct is great to work with, no issues there. Thanks for responding
