Title: Identify probable failure from a picture?
Post by: Stinkhorn Press on December 15, 2016, 03:02:53 PM
this has happened, what 3 times in the last year (this bad).

always white. 2 times of the 3 had a color overtop.

not a big deal to replace, all luckily on small runs.

up until July we were running a small electric dryer. Now big and gas. the cure is waaaaaaay better now. i THINK these were all cured in the old tiny crap dryer. my guess is CURE issue.

ink - for white either wilflex sprint or quick white OR synergy poly white.
top color is wilflex epic line

I have also had it happen due to over flashing. once over flashed recuring wont solve the problem either. Thats how i realized it was over flashing

usually overflashing would make the top ink not stick as well, these are coming off together, so I would doubt it's that.  could be though.

overflash causes top color failure, but not the base white to crack like this.  Definitely undercured.
