The 3000 is a workhorse. They are super cheap to operate once you have them and do an awesome job with films. I have zero reason to change mine to a 4800 or whatever. I am not a fan of the 1400 series. I like the dye inks and lack of cart chips.
I buy film for $.77 a sheet and ink for $80 for a liter. Can't complain about those prices.
