M&R two slot sq holder w/ metal dowel rod. How to load?
We just got in a new set of 75/90/75 squeegees, winged flood bars and holders.
Our others are held with bolts and nuts.
Is there a trick/process to loading the blades into these and locking them in? When you load a blade in place, the back end is too tight to fit a rod...if you load the rod first, then the top is too tight to load the blade.
I tried just setting the rod at the tip of one side and starting the blade in at the other, but was a tad difficult with nobody else here at the time to hold in place. Still, I doubt this is the method. I'm sure it's something obvious I'm overlooking.

I think you need a qwik-klamp.

Yes those are nice I've seen him and used it. There has to be some standard way of putting these together now whether it's hard or not. Quick clamp should be just a faster method.

Can you use a bench vise? Not ideal but it should pinch it together enough I would think

I guess I was under the impression that you need the quick-klamp to use that system.

Well, that kinda sucks, but it worked out.
We're not in a hurry to get them, so M&R is shipping the standard version we use.I didn't specify Quick Clamp or not and didn't think to. So the order taker, also didn't ask. I just assumed and apparently he did too. So, they are shipping my standard set. It happens.
Thanks for the clarification. Once I got them I thought...apparently there is a more manual method to getting the bar in. There is not.
