Seems to me that once upon a time, Wilflex Easy Art plug-in for PS had this feature.
How else is it done?

  If it's clean without gradients, do it in Corel... Bitmaps - Contour - Edge Detect then trace it.

Wow, that's a great tool that just won't work on this puppy, which is too "soft". Certainly add it to my toolbox though.

Andy, there are a ton of very inexpensive "sketch" actions and filters at graphicriver.com, like $4 - $7...

If you have ultraseps, it has a great sketch action and gives you a couple of different renderings to choose from.

and one of my old favorites is the Graphic Pen filter in PS...
