fiverr.com
Simple as that.
We paid someone $5 bucks to give us a video review on a product. They proceeded to talk about how well it was packaged and how everyone in her wedding party loved that their names were engraved on their own glasses. How they were going to probably be ordering another two for her parents. blah blah blah.
She has NEVER bought one of our products... straight paid advertising.
$5 bucks is all it took to make her sell her soul.
Is it any wonder what is wrong with politicians these days... *sigh*

I paid 2.50.
you've been had.
-
Who really sold their soul for $5? The payor or the payee?
-
Just like any other product or service. Anyone time you have someone willing to pay for it, you will have someone willing to sell it.

Watch the movie The Magic Christian. Same concept, people will do anything for a $1.

Fortunately, the exact scene I wanted is available on You Tube
John Cleese in The Magic Christian (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NK4jO80rmc0#)

Well... TECHNICALLY, my wife did it.
I just don't see how these people can do this and go about their day. When I had a wedding videography company I would of course have to dress up to go shoot the weddings. I'd end up almost sick to my stomach at how phony I was being... I could wait to get in the car and take it all off. And that was just dressing up in a decent shirt. ;)

I get logistics and all but I can't stand it when couples get their "wedding" photos done before the ceremony. My bride and I made a conscious effort to have our wedding photos done after we were, um, married.

We were supposed to do that and replace our photo. We did the signature frame vs a guest book so we wanted a pic to go in there for when people were signing, so we had a friend take a quick pic for us. It's still in the frame hanging in the hallway. The frame is a much better alternative vs a book. Who looks at a guest book? our frame is displayed in the hall.
