Does the recent Supreme Court decision allowing resale of used ink cartridges effect your business ?

Those ink carts are very pricey, my wife goes thru more ink than I do printing invoice's daily, I'm always trying to find something cheaper.

We were using recycled toner carts in our printer and it was junk.  We run a basic color laser for job tickets and any printouts the shop might need for placement and such.  It was a waste of money, so we went back to the Brother carts and the difference was night and day.

It may work for some folks, but not us.  Maybe it will bring down the cost of name brand carts since there is legally more competition now, but I doubt it.

So really no effect here.  We really get about 6-9 months out of the cartridges.  We do reset them since it works based on print count rather than toner usage.  So most of the time there is plenty of toner to run a few more months.
