Printed this on light pink tees, even with double stroking at 30 psi I could not clear the screen, on one pallet only of course. All the other pallets are fine, no problem clearing the screen at 20-25 psi but pallet #5 needs to be approached with 35 psi. Pallets were just leveled a few weeks ago. Now after almost getting to the point of absolute frustration I decided to swap that pallet for one of my spare ones, et voila all fine. Makes me guess there has to be something wrong with the pallet itself nothing to do with the station not being level. But what could be wrong with it. Looks all good to me, had plenty of glue on it too.

Are they rubber topped? Could be an imperfection in the rubber. Our manual has 1 or 2 pallets that seem to have a little slope/vally in the middle so it requires extra force to clear the screen.
On the auto we have bare metal pallets, but I noticed some of them are warped from age and excessive heat I suppose - so those usually need a little more pressure to clear as well.

Our pallets are rubber topped, came with press we bought 5 years ago from M&R. I`m just trying to understand what might have happened, one day it was all printing nicely and then the next day this.

Well, something is up with the push back/resistance on that arm/pallet.
Were some of the pallet clamps maybe not tight? Causing more deflection at the top of the pallet?
Did the pallet get a bend to it?
Is the rubber not completely flat? We have a few boards here where the rubber needs to be replaced. Those require more pressure to properly clear.

Mount the palette like you normally do and get a known good straight edge, run it around the palette looking for a "belly". That should tell you if you have a depression somewhere on your palette.

Sounds like something is wrong underneath the rubber, pull the rubber and check the level/flatness of the pallet, could be an unglued spot coming up just a little.

flip the pallet. Could just be a little slope in the rubber...something leaning on it for too long...or if you had swapped pallets, if the rubber was up against the bracket of another pallet.
