Howdy team mates
i bought some aluminum screens six months ago
recently i notice water moving inside in some of them
i talk to my buddy the welder to plug the holes or fisures
any ways he charges more than i expected
you guys have any ideas on how to deal with this problem
thanks in advance

Where did you get them. Seems like sometimes inexpensive is cheap. Ours are guaranteed.
-
i bought them use from a local decorator going out of biz
you got warranty on yours from who?
i was just thinking if i just use the stuff guys use at the bodyshop
might work to plug the holes

I would not use Bondo. But I would use JB Weld available everywhere.

we use two part epoxy. works great and it is cheap!

I would not recommend this. Silicone will eventually break down throughout the rigors of the screenmaking cycles and bits may break off and mix with ink, possibly rendering it useless.

I have a couple like that and I 'retired' the screens to a job that comes up every now and then. Example, the restaurant across the street needs a quick print when they get a new employee and I can print 6 shirts without much grief.

If the hole not that big superglue...... speaking of jb weld I gotta get some
