we have a '94 Gauntlet, 6/8 and an Advance TexAir 48" for sale. We'll be moving in the next few months and won't be using them anymore. $3K each, or the pair for $5K. The dryer is electric in and electric out, with gas convection in the center. Both run, in fact we have a short video of it running just yesterday. See the pix...

About 110 years... the town has come down heavily on the landlord (someone with a lot of money and pull wants this place to redevelop) and we are moving a few miles away (a new town) we'll probably sign the new lease in the next couple of days. We have a new Interchange MD-8 coming.

Ah, but is it because the "rich" alone behave that way, or simply because they are people who CAN, and therefore do; and everyone else would do the same in their place, but lack the means? The actual "golden rule" is the higher road, and not the one that comes naturally to us humans.

I'll have to disagree there, and I'm not even close to rich, nor do I come from money. It's not the money, wealth, that makes that happen, it's greed. I know plenty of wealthy folk who earned all that they have honestly, and are very generous and indeed practice the Golden Rule, which I believe personally is why they are able to do well. To define the Golden Rule, loosely, it's about treating other the people the way you want to be treated. Some like to misquote it into "Do unto others as they do unto you." which makes it something entirely different. Another popular misquote is "Money is the root of all evil." when it's actually "The LOVE of money..." that greed thing again. So really, it's about their character. Either way, we signed our new lease last night, and have 3 months free rent to build while we continue to operate here, so now the fun really begins. Have a great Labor Day weekend everybody.
And somebody take that damn press...

I can't believe you have not had someone take if off your hands yet.
I'd love to, except being a work-at-home printer, I just don't have the room. Not even close.
I'm sure someone here will jump all over it soon and others will be kicking themselves for having missed it.

is the dryer all electric? can it work without a gas line?
and where are you located?

Hi Rusty, it's electric and gas; that is, 2 IR panels in the front to raise the temp of the ink, gas convection in the middle, and one IR panel as an extra kick in the pants on the way out. 100 amps for service.

ok thanks, unfortunately we can't do gas or propane at all in our current space.
