Looking into a new embroidery machine. Bauradan or Tajima, is either of the new versions networkable?

Everything I've seen you have to use a USB or a Floppy disk...

Both machines are networkable even the older gens, its not a case of the machine but more about the software. It gets extremely expensive.

All 4 of our Tajima machines are on the network without problems.  Easy to manage the queue and send over designs in .dst format.

It doesn't work for our laser machine though - those files have to be saved out as an older format and brought over with USB.  That issue is probably resolved with newer laser machines though.

Every Hirsch person I have talked to has stated that you have to have a seperate computer or something sitting next to the machine?

How new are your machines?

I want to drag and drop files just like our I-Image ST.

2013 is the laser machine, 2 2014's, the T-MARK is 2016 6 head.

The 3 single heads all use the same control panel and are on the network.  Digitizing computer runs the spooler that sees the machines and sends the files to the machines.

Embroidery machine Ethernet just goes to the 48 port switch I have.
