Title: .ink file?
Post by: Sbrem on October 04, 2017, 09:56:07 AM
We just received an .ink file from a customer, that's a new one to me. Some quick reading mentions Corel X6, we're a Mac shop; so, can anyone convert, or should we have the designer send a .pdf or similar? Thanks in advance.

I think it's inkscape, they can output it in different formats from that program, they should do that instead of you installing a program you would never use.

I'd look at it, but I don't see it as a recognized importable file type in my Corel X6

When I started to look it up, it appears to be a "shortcut"

The message is ready to be sent with the following file or link attachments:
Shortcut to: E:\Stingrays t-shirt art
Shortcut to: E:\.Spotlight-V100
Shortcut to: E:\.Spotlight-V100

Which makes it a shortcut to something I don't have...

Looks like a call or email to the client is in order. :(
