Hello T shirt people. I am starting a business out of my shed. It is a big shed. anyhow. i am i the process of getting it ready for equipment. Just finished insulation and did a purge. I am trying to decide what is the best way to go to buy equipment. Craigslist is not working out.

First off, welcome. You've come to the right place.
You may want to start some specific posts in the Newbie section, like "I've cleared out the shed, now what???"
And btw, I've done great with equipment purchases through Craigslist in the San Francisco Bay Area.

There are some hidden gems on Craigslist, but sometimes the pickings can be scarce. Similar situation with Ebay, just keep your eyes peeled.
Digitsmith.com is one of the more popular places people list their printing equipment on. I've bought a few used pieces of equipment from screenprintsource.com and I prefer them the most. They mostly sell used M&R stuff, but occasionally they have some other brands up on their site. Most of my shop was pieced together with used equipment.

sales will be more important than the equipment. Find sales first, have somebody else print in the beginning. . .

Before you buy equipment be sure to learn the operational aspect of printing and the optimal equipment required, based on your budget. The apparel decorating business is already proven to be a viable market.. What knowledge/ability you enter into it with, will dictate your share..

Are you a experienced screen printer or absolutely new to the industry. With that known we can help guide you not only with equipment purchases, proper start up supplies, inks, squeegies screen mesh etc. but also business foundational stuff like a business plan, some kind of budget, garment suppliers etc. Pierre made a good point but the answer to that all depends on your current situation.
