I like the vibe here. I'll lurk as I do in most forums and answer relevant topics as I see them. I don't post a whole lot on many forums besides TSF, but if I see any topics that request/need my attention I will be sure to help out!

I too was a Vastex user. I had the VRS Registration system and Mike worked with me and Doug Greiger to make the press unit to specifically fit my platens (Antec Legend with 14" square, no-neck). I love it. Registration was a walk in the park.

Welcome, Mike. I cut my teeth on a Vastex in '75... Though I don't have one now, they are are solid, solid machines.

Hello Mike. If everything goes right, I will have a full Vastex manual shop soon. Good things come to those who wait I guess.

That's awesome Steve! Hmm, back in 1975, did your press have built in jacket hold downs? Thanks for the compliment and welcome!

Great to hear! As tpitman said, you will not be disappointed. Are you buying new or did you find a good used shop?

Yes, every shirt got stretched (there was no tack yet that we knew of) no flash units, stapled mesh at 4 or 5 newtons maybe, 8xx multifilament. Why don't I long for those days... :D
