Anyone use Vistaprint for their web site?
-
Didn't know they did sites...
-
If you want something clean looking check out Weebly, it's free and easy. "Even a caveman can do it". Then host it with godaddy for 12.00 a year.
-
i went through www.powweb.com (http://www.powweb.com) they were pretty good.
-

Hey Sam, what makes network solutions different? How is it that they can get you that many visits a week? In other words what sets them apart from the rest to justify the higher cost? I know the obvious for you is the increased visits but how do they do it that the others dont?
-
the give you the tools to increase you traffic..they have more integrated web crawlers ect...
-
i let mine expire i never did anything with it. i found facebook to be more powerful for me.

It's not a Facebook OR website thing, you have to use both to compliment each other.
The real question regarding a web site isn't who hosts it but the content. A free website will look free, cheap and like it was built with a template. Sophisticated web users today expect better than that.
The other real question should be how to make a www smart phone friendly too.
-
How much would it cost to have a website designed professionaly?
-
I have been getting prices from $250.00 to $ 1200.00 not including hosting

If someone offers you a web site for $250, I would say that is a stretch to call him a professional.

That's like saying if you don't charge $50.00 a shirt like Ed Hardy then your not a professional printer.
Does this mean if I start charging more today, then I am more of a professional then I was a week ago?

That is not what I said!
Yes, you can get someone in China to do it for $250 or some guy in college that uses templates from ebay.
What I meant, is that you can not get a custom built site for that much. I never messed with the templates and I would not do templates, but if you already go that route get the template and do it you self.
I thing that the saying "you get what you pay for" works every time, on shirts and on web sites.
And, be careful of "professional" web designers on Craigslist with sites for cheap.
I do not care who you will hire, just saying to be careful when hiring someone like that.
-
I know what you were saying I was just bored and mixing the pot

That goes for everything

Wait, maybe you do get what you pay for.
